The Chelonian Ranch acts as a safe haven and sanctuary for turtles and tortoises from different parts of the world. All sick, injured, or turtles just needing a home are always welcome. With 30 years of experience, Christopher’s aim is to provide a safe home for this incredible species to thrive while also providing education outreach and conservation.

About the founder

Christopher is a native to Southern Indiana. Born and raised in Martinsville, he's always had a special connection with turtles of all Genus. Since the age of seven, he's been fascinated by every aspect of this species and has always dreamed of having a nonprofit sanctuary. In 2021, that dream was realized when he officially founded the Chelonian Ranch, Inc.

Christopher is a veteran of the Air Force and a professional actor, but his passion is working with turtles, tortoises and other reptiles.
